Why add an underlay?
An underlay sits between your rug and the floor. It stops your rug slipping and bunching, adds a little support underfoot, and helps protect your floors and your rug.
Good to know:
Our underlays are sized 10cm smaller than your rug, so they stay hidden while still doing their job.
The Bloom is handloomed from wool and bamboo. Its surface carries a distinct lustre that shifts with the light, creating a textile that feels both organic and refined. This construction is designed for spaces that require a soft, light-reflecting anchor. In Truffle, it is rich and sophisticated. It is a deep, silken brown-grey that adds a layer of depth and luxury to the floor.

Quality is great. Very soft, dense wool. Great feeling underfoot. But I would encourage this company to stop using Allied Express for deliveries ASAP. Getting my rug from Allied Express was an ordeal. And I am yet to receive confirmation of the eventually successful delivery OR the second supposedly failed delivery attempt. There is no paper trail or tracking information provided for where my $1200 rug was for 4 or 5 days after the first failed delivery attempt. Which was incredibly stressful. I had to chase them repeatedly for info over the phone. But they still never provided anything in writing to confirm what they said over the phone. Rug is beautiful. Allied Express were abysmal.

It’s a beautiful rug, thick and feels amazing under foot. The quality is excellent. I was just a bit disappointed by the colour. It’s much duller in tone than the pictures and has a cooler hue. It’s still beautiful , it just doesn’t pop as much as the photos online. In the future I will order the colour swatches. And although I am a bit disappointed by the colour, would still buy another rug because of the quality and workmanship.

We purchased the 150 cm round rug in chestnut and are very pleased with the quality and the colour . The carpet arrived within the time frame stated on their website . Great service and would recommend elan and earth to others .
