We think a rug shouldn't just fill a floor, it should set the tone for the whole room. That's the idea behind everything we make. We work directly with skilled artisans in Bhadohi, India, and skip the traditional showroom mark-up, so you're paying for craftsmanship, not overheads.

Only the real thing. Every rug we make starts with natural fibres, 100% New Zealand wool, cotton, silk, or jute. We'd rather a rug take a little longer to make and last decades than cut corners with plastic fibres that break down in a few years.

Because it works as hard as your home does. Wool naturally resists crushing, so it bounces back even under heavy furniture. Thanks to its natural lanolin coating, spills tend to sit on the surface rather than soak straight in, giving you time to wipe them up before they become a stain.

Take a breath, this is completely normal, and honestly, it's a good sign. Some initial shedding just means you've got a genuinely natural, unprocessed wool rug. A few weeks of regular vacuuming and it settles right down on its own.

By hand, the way rugs have been made for generations. Your rug will be handloomed, hand-knotted, hand-tufted, or handwoven by artisans in Bhadohi, many of whom learned the craft from their parents and grandparents before them.

Almost, but not identically, and that's really the beauty of it. Think of it less like a product photo and more like a piece of art: closely matched, never a carbon copy.

We keep a solid range on hand, rectangular rugs from a cosy 160cm x 230cm right up to a statement 300cm x 400cm, round rugs in 150cm, 200cm, and 250cm, and runners for hallways, kitchens, and everywhere in between.

Honestly, yes, always. It's a small thing that makes a real difference: it stops your rug slipping underfoot, protects your floors underneath, and adds a little extra softness to every step.

This is the one exception. Because your custom piece was made specifically for you and your space, we're not able to offer a change-of-mind return on it, but we'll always make sure you know that clearly before production starts, not after.
